Fiocle's personal record that for her winter has officially begun.

While a mere 13 degrees C
bodily intolerence of cold
informs to double layer
freedom to do
freedom to say:

I love the changing light outside my window
I love the way the seasons
keep the world from standing still
and when it seems to almost have stopped for good and forever
hidden surprises spring up in front of our eyes

Random attempt at a self-help meme

Here is my attempt at a self-help meme

How to turn the negative to positive to stop feeling like shit

It is a simple equation.
I am sure you noticed that negative ions only have two protons, and three electrons?
Recipe: add a proton here, take away an electron there and you've got a positive.
So, apply that to your feelings and you're a genius.
Also, if you succeeded - let me know how you did it.

Lesson: Turning to nuclear science (like what I just did) is not the best way forward.

More m'art

This is another felt piece which I made from scratch earlier this year. This material really does take a lot of work to make by hand. This one is a wall hanging which has been embellished with beads and embroidery thread. Even the felt balls are hand-made (by moi). In the rolling process I added various types of fabric to the felt to see what would happen. The background is my favoured, crumpled acrylic effect.

I hope you enjoy looking at this as much as I enjoyed making it.

s'more art

Like a lucky child on Christmas morning I am enjoying the feeling of having new toys to play with.
After receiving a gift of some old art materials, I sat down to try out the chalk pastels. It could have been a picture of anything. Anyway it turned out to be okay. So here it is

This next one (as yet unfinished) is a copy from an old painting I've had in my possession for many    years and is slightly damaged (woodworm or other little insects have been feasting). I have no clue who the painting is by because there is no signature. So, I am in the process of (not tracing) copying it.                                                       This is how it is thus far.

All the best
