s'more art

Like a lucky child on Christmas morning I am enjoying the feeling of having new toys to play with.
After receiving a gift of some old art materials, I sat down to try out the chalk pastels. It could have been a picture of anything. Anyway it turned out to be okay. So here it is

This next one (as yet unfinished) is a copy from an old painting I've had in my possession for many    years and is slightly damaged (woodworm or other little insects have been feasting). I have no clue who the painting is by because there is no signature. So, I am in the process of (not tracing) copying it.                                                       This is how it is thus far.
